Hello again, lovelies!
I’m really excited about this blog post because we get to talk about something that means so incredibly much to me.
INTEGRITY; the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.
Absolutely EVERY choice I make comes from a place of integrity. In my career I’ve said no to plenty of things that could have made a significant amount of temporary income. I’ve turned eager clients away knowing there is something lingering that could possibly have a negative outcome. I’ve refused free products knowing their backstory and I’ve passed on a lot of opportunity’s to be lead by various leaders.
Why you ask? It all comes back to integrity, working from a place of love and not fear. Believing that every thing I do, every product I use, every supplier I purchase from has to work from the same perspective; Love & Integrity is their mission.
This brings me to one of my favourite humans who happens to be the founder of my favourite supply company, HYVE. You may all know Amanda, she’s hard to miss and impossible to forget: her presence is strong in the best way and she radiates love.
Amanda founded HYVE formerly known as Microblade Canada from a place of integrity, community, love and honesty. She exudes professionalism while offering her advice, feedback & friendship to any one in need of it. It was love at first order with Amanda, she puts so much love into every single shipment; from personalized cards to extra goodies, she truly cares that her customers are happy AND that she is delivering the best products on the market. It was Amanda that lead me to my all time favourite pigment line, Perma Blend. I knew I could trust that whatever product she was using, she believed in. It’s so important to me that whatever I use on my clients, I would want used on me. The same applies for teaching, we only use the best when it comes to our students kits and the reason is we truly want them to be successful. Caring about what you use and why will ensure that success.
Amanda has taken the time to form a relationship with the team at PermaBlend, and this is why I was so comfortable to switch pigment lines from the well known brand I was previously using. After years of using this line I can truly say it’s absolutely beautiful, with colours that are rich, bright and a variety that never leaves you longing for more; you simply can’t go wrong. We use Permablend for all of our services, and don’t have a single other brand on hand. After I personally spoke with PermaBlend's brand manager over the phone, I knew I wanted to include them in my blog for one huge reason. They have the same mission I do, the same mission Amanda does, it’s all about integrity.
Perma Blend goes above and beyond to ensure their product is of the highest quality. They are not new to the game, with some huge qualifications under their belt they have every reason to be classified “ the best”. They manufacture to ResAp(2008) standard and have obtained CTL certificates for all of their products. Perma Blends manufacturing facility was also granted the IOS 13485 certification. Perma Blend is the first pigment ink company to achieve this, raising the bar that much higher! For those that do not know what ISO 13485 is, it was written to support medical device manufacturers in designing quality management systems that establish and maintain the effectiveness of their processes. It ensures the consistent design, development, production, installation, and delivery of medical devices that are safe for their intended purpose.
How long does the ink typically last in the skin?
This depends on the client and their lifestyle. Anywhere from 1.5 – 3 years.
Do the pigments contain nickel?
No heavy metals are used in the production of Perma Blend.
How long has Perma Blend been tested in the skin for safety?
Perma Blend has been tested and used for over 4 years now and has over 40 years of ink manufacturing experience behind it.
Will these pigments turn red, orange, blue, or purple?
No. This is because of the balance of colours, high-quality ingredients, attention paid to lightfastness and concentration. They will only become a lighter version of the original colour.
What are the ingredients?
The ingredients are a combination of Powdered Pigments, Sterile Aqua, Rosin, Glycerin, Witch Hazel, Isopropyl Alcohol and Benzyl Alcohol. It is gamma-ray sterilized, vegan, and cruelty-free.
What makes this line last longer than other PMU lines?
All of the colours are highly concentrated. The higher the concentration the more saturation in the skin, the more saturation, the longer it will last. The pigment ingredients are comprised of the absolute highest quality pigments with the highest lightfastness rating for maximum colour stability and performance.

Knowing this company goes above and beyond for the customers or for the well being of the consumers had me at ease. It was a no brainer to switch companies and I can assure you I will never look back!
